I am one of those square pegs who find themselves stuck in the groove of round holes in life. I was born into literature and aspired to be a writer from early in school and college. But life took one of those twists and I found myself at the other end of the spectrum as a student of Economics. Though I excelled in Economics M.A., the degree was like water on a duck’s back, helping me to land a cushy job as livelihood. My heart was and continues to be in literature. I have tried to do justice to my life’s calling by penning articles for major newspapers like the Times of India, The New Indian Express, The Statesman and the Deccan Herald. This has brought immense satisfaction to my soul and I continue to write ‘middles’ even today. The essence of my articles is treatment of human emotions and snippets of situational comedy. They form the backbone of my blog, which aims to spark a connect between the blogger and the reader. Needless to say, my wife has had a major role in inspiring me. Other family members have chipped in in setting up this blog and also as guinea pigs with their own experiences, thrills and chills. I hope reading these pieces will act as pleasant fillers in your life’s journey. Do let me have your views and reviews. You are also welcome to shower me with bouquets and brickbats.
My harshest critics
“Baba stories are the gateway to my wonderful dreams” …. Ayrah ( granddaughter)
“Write more as it helps maintaining the peace in the house” … Sabita (supposedly my better half)
